The strawberry – a rose by any other name
Strawberries are not really berries at all but actually flowering plants that belong to the rose family. When strawberries first became commercial products, the plants were cultivated in straw. Many think that’s where they got their name. Introduced in Brittany almost 300 years ago, strawberries were used as a medicinal cure as early as the 13th century.
Light, flexible and extremely strong, the Fruitcase features Japanese Hinomoto low-noise wheels and carrier handle for ultra-smooth gliding, while an adjustable, extra high telescopic handle ensures easy manoeuvrability.
